Tabriz Being the fourth largest city in Iran, Tabriz is located in a valley called Ajie Chay. So, the mountainous climate turns it into a cold city. Long ago, Tabriz was the capital of Azarbayejan but during Mongols; the Black Sheep dynasty and the famous Safavies, it rose to the national capital for a short time.
